Amerivent Direct Vent

The following Adapters are available to convert an AMERIVENT Direct Vent system (ADV) to a Selkirk Model Direct-Temp System
(DT) or vise-versa. These Adaptors are available for 4" and 5" diameters, unpainted and painted.

Usage

For venting direct vent gas appliances listed or certified for use with Amerivent Direct Vent. DCAB — Collinear Appliance Adapter

Use at appliance for connecting from Co-axial start collars to a pair of Collinear tubes passing through existing chimneys.

DCAT — Collinear Top Kit

Use at top of existing chimney to convert Collinear tubes to Co-axial AmeriVent Direct Vent. Flashing is included.

DSC-K — Kingsman Adapter

For use specifically with 4" x 7" Kingsman appliances.

DSC-N — Napoleon Adapters

For use specifically with Napoleon and Continental fireplaces and stoves.

D-AL — Adjustable Length

Telescopes onto standard pipe sections for adjustments from 3" to 5" for 7A

Twist-lock joints offer fast installations.
Factory-installed inner gasket ensures a leak-free joint.

D-L — Pipe Section

D45L — 45-degree Elbow

Use with 45° fireplace adapters or in pairs to go around obstructions.
Add pipe sections between elbows for additional offset.

D90L — 90-degree Elbow

Four-section design provides smooth, low-resistant 90° offset.

DAHCS — Horizontal Cap (square)

Used as end cap for horizontal applications only.
Provides installer an additional 5" of flexibility

DHC — Horizontal Cap (round)

Use for horizontal venting applications. Corrosion-resistant construction with stainless steel inner wall. Low-restriction design improves efficiency and minimizes wall temperature. Cap shown with the vinyl siding shield attached. Shield included in box, unattached.

DHWS — Wind/Screen Cover

The cover provides a wind screen for homes in high wind areas. It shields and hides horizontal caps, providing added heat protection for children and pets. No new holes to drill; the cover uses existing cap screws and holes in the base. One cover works with both 4" and 5" horizontal caps. These covers can also be used on snorkel caps. The sturdy, galvanized steel cover can be painted to match the exterior color of the home. Not listed.

DS — Snorkel Cap

Use for horizontal vent installations that require a vertical rise on the exterior of the building. Corrosion-resistant construction with stainless steel inner wall. Low-restriction design improves efficiency and minimizes wall temperature.

DSC — Storm Collar

Used with a flashing and mastic to seal to vent pipe, the storm collar provides extra weather protection.

DV — Direct Vent Vinyl Siding Standoff

DVC — Vertical Cap

Use for vertical venting applications. Corrosion resistant construction with stainless steel inner wall. Low-restriction design improves efficiency.

DF — Flashings

Fits flat to 5/12 pitch roofs. Double-seamed construction for protection from leakage.

DFSP — Firestop Support Plate

Provides vertical support for vent and offsets, while maintaining clearance from the wall and providing a firestop.
Can be used with the black painted Face Plate for the interior ceiling.

DRSB — Cathedral Ceiling Support

Use as support and firestop in cathedral ceiling installations. Cathedral Ceiling Support Trim Plate is a decorative trim used to conceal rough opening where Cathedral Ceiling Support passes through ceiling. Fits from flat to 12/12 pitch ceilings. Cathedral Ceiling Support and Cathedral Ceiling Support Trim Plate painted black.

DTPB — Face Plate for Ceiling Support or Wall Thimble

Use as a decorative cover for the Firestop Support Plate or Wall Thimble. Black painted surface for interior wall.

DWS — Wall Strap

Provides lateral support for vent and offsets, while maintaining clearance from the wall.

DWTS — Wall Thimble

Provides clearance and firestopping for through-the-wall installations. Can be used with a black painted Face Plate for the interior wall. Adjustable from 4 1/2" to 8 1/2".

DRCKA — 8” Metal Chimney Conversion Kit

The Co-axial Chimney Kit is used when converting an existing 8" factory-built chimney to a direct vent appliance. Includes a black Conversion Adapter (4DCNA) and an unpainted large Cap Adapter (4DCAA). Uses a UL-listed 4" aluminum flex vent pipe and a 7" aluminum flex vent pipe (sold separately).

DRCKM — Masonry Chimney Conversion Kit

The Masonry Chimney Kit is used when converting an existing masonry chimney to a direct vent appliance. Includes a black Conversion Adapter (4DCNA), an unpainted small Cap Adapter (4DCAB), a black Face Plate (4DFPB), and a square flashing. Uses a UL-listed 4" flex vent pipe and a 7" flex vent pipe (sold separately).
